Kibet Cheboi Jethro

Kibet Cheboi Jethro is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over ten (10) years’ experience.He is the Founding and Managing Partner of CJ Law and Associates LLP, a leading law firm in Kenya offering tailor made legal services to its diverse clients both locally and internationally. He currently heads the commercial and corporate division of the firm, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public. Before establishing CJ Law & Associates LLP, Kibet was the head of legal department and company secretary of Tourism Fund, a government parastatal under the ministry of Tourism, where he managed the legal department and ensured the parastatal complied with both current and emerging legal issues to meet its goals of being legally compliant with the Tourism Act of 2011 and other relevant laws and further to ensure maximum collection of levy from tourism and catering establishments in Kenya which in turn helped the government to market the country as the best tourism destination in Africa. He earlier practiced law at Cheptumo & Company Advocates. Kibet, earned his Masters in Law (LLM) at University of Nairobi, where he majored in International Trade and Investment Law.He attained his Bachelors in Law (LLB) at Moi University, Eldoret and further attended the Kenya School of Law for a mandatory Diploma in Law course to be admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
